Join the pack for a fun and family friendly hike in Castlewood Canyon on Sunday June 28 at 9:45am!

A park volunteer will be leading us on a 2 mile guided nature hike and will discuss park history geology and botany.  Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours roundtrip.  All hikers will need sufficient water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and good footwear.  No open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or sandals!

The group will meet at 9:45 am in the Canyon Point parking area on the east side of the park.  The east entrance is located off of Parker Road (Highway 83), 5 miles south of the intersection of Hwy 83 and Hwy 86 at Franktown.  All vehicles are required to display a valid parks pass.  You can buy a day pass at the park entrance. The east entrance facilities include a visitor center and flush restrooms.
