Facebook Group - Instructions on Joining

posted Sep 12, 2016, 7:00 AM by Pack 841 Webmaster   [ updated Sep 12, 2016, 7:04 AM ]

Parents,

I created a "closed" Group in Facebook specifically for members of Pack 841 a few months ago.  This way we can post photos of our Scouts from Den and Pack meetings, service projects, and other Scout events - which I think will be a great way to share more of the adventures our Scouts are having.

To find this Group, see details below.  Since it is "closed", people will have to request to join and only Group members will be able to view the posts made to the Group.

Here's how to find the Facebook Group:

- In the Search Bar, type "Pack 841"

- Tap on the Group Name: Cub Scout Pack 841 - Parker, CO

- Click on the "Join Group" button

- I will get a notification and add you as a member.

Thank you!

The Denver Area Council is meeting it's objective of building tomorrow's leaders while serving more than 55,000 young people throughout the Denver Metro Area. This is all made possible by generous contributions each year from people like you dedicated to making a difference in our communities. All donations made through the Investment in Character campaign fund programs and outdoor experiences for our 25,000 scouts. They also fund coed programs including Learning for Life, Exploring, and STEM scouts serving more than 30,000 youth from Pre-K to age 20.

An Investment in Character representative will be at our Blue & Gold celebration on Feb 19.  Please consider how your family can support Scouting in our community.  Pledge cards will be distributed at our event.  Click here to securely donate online - please reference Pioneer Trails District and Pack 841

Sign up here to participate in the 9 Cares Colorado Shares/Parker Task Force Food Drive!  Scouts will be stationed at the King Soopers on Lincoln and Jordan on Saturday Nov.14, 2015.  1 hour shifts are available from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. We need both adult and Scout volunteers to make this happen. Please plan on working the time slot with your son as this is not a "drop-n-go" event. You and your scout will be encouraged and amazed by the generosity of our community.  You can also earn community service credit for your rank!  Scouts and Leaders should wear Class A uniforms. If you have any questions let us know. Here is what we will be doing:
1. Handing a "shopping list" to arriving shoppers
2. Picking up and boxing groceries as departing shoppers donate food items.

Thanks for Supporting our Community!!
